I really fucking hate commercial tv, but one of my weaknesses is pro football. Love the sport, probably always will. I’ve been ostracized by many “hipsters” for my NFL type ways, and occasionally for good reason. Now there’s a reason I totally agree with. Visa has these new ads, one broadcast here shows New Orleans Saints fans buying stuff at a store, and they are all paying with their cutesy Visa cards to the tune of “When the Saints go Marchin’ In” booming in the background. Then one guy comes up puts cash down on the counter. The music stops, the clerk looks at him funny as well as everyone else in the store.
And then you hear something like “You need Visa because life takes rhythm.” What the fucking hell is that?? Everything is under control.

You may have seen that miserable fucking Beyonce Direct Tv commercial where she does the spastic while singing “Let me upgrade you” or some such shit. At one point she has the word “upgrade” in gold sandwiched between her lips. When you think you’ve seen the worst there’s always one more putrid atrocity comin’ ’round the bend.

The feature length horror film “Night For Nixie” produced by Reel Progress is now available on Amazon.com. The VOD release should be available by December 10. Click here to see the film on Amazon.

Emergency Broadcast Network has been around for quite a while now, and I would consider them one of the original culture jammers. This incredible video is from a live rendition of the piece “Electronic Behavior Control System” which will make you feel happy all over. This is on DivX stage 6, so you will need to download the DivX plugin at the prompt, but don’t worry, if you look around their library you’ll see they have enough great shit in there to make you click that button. And i have included a Myspace link in case you dont wanna.

Mike Lyddon of Reel Progress has officially stated in an interview this morning that he would back writer Seth MacFarlane on his decision to join the writers strike and strongly urges viewers to boycott any upcoming new episodes of the show “Family Guy” which are being produced without the creator’s consent. “The last show helmed by MacFarlane aired November 11, so any new shows after that should be boycotted,” Lyddon said, “Keep in mind that MacFarlane does the voices for 3 of the main characters, Stewie, Peter and the dog Brian, so these shows are bound to be crap anyway!” the Reel Progress president continued in a more excited tone.
