Forbidden Planet (1956)
There is no arguing that Forbidden Planet is one of the greatest science fiction films ever made, and pretty much blows away most of the effects ridden big budget crap that is passed off as “science fiction” today.
And now for all lovers of this film there is a great 50th anniversary edition of Forbidden Planet which comes in a tin box, with a mini Robby The Robot inside along with the 2-Disc Special Edition of the digitally restored and remastered movie, plus over 4 hours of bonus features including vintage memorabilia!
Even though this edition was released in 2006, it has proven to be so popular they continue to sell it, and I’ve bought a few for Xmas presents already.
